Valuable networking opportunities are provided through Exporters' Club events, such as fortnightly networking events, industry specific cluster meetings, business lunches, export forums and workshops.
Networking Events - Networking events create opportunities to mix with like-minded existing and potential exporters in a friendly atmosphere. Knowledgeable speakers are invited to hold presentations which are followed by informal networking session.
Industry Specific Clusters - Industry specific "Clusters" cultivate exporting activity and growth by bringing together members with common international marketing interests. Participation offers an extremely useful opportunity for businesses to increase their knowledge of the industry and develop their business through shared experiences within the industry.
The Club currently facilitates the operation of four Clusters being the Publishing Cluster, Wine Industry Cluster and Olive Industry Export Cluster.
Business Lunches - Business Luncheons are held on a quarterly basis and involve high profile speakers from the private and public sectors who are invited to share their experience in export relevant areas.
Export Forums - Half day export focused forums gather a variety of practical and informative topics and a knowledgeable panel of guest speakers. The forums have been running since 2002 and are considered to be amongst the most popular export business events in the Southern region. The aim of the forums is to increase the export successes for small emerging and established exporters based in South Australia.
Export Workshops - One-on-One Export Workshops aim to equip businesses with necessary export relevant skills. They are supported by the City Of Onkaparinga and are delivered by an experienced trainer with practice and skills in exporting, marketing, sales, e-business, and branding. These are daily workshops that can sit a small number of businesses only thus delivering virtually one-on-one practical advice.
