Before we answer what does the title say, imagine a country with a population almost the
size of Australia’s, sharing the same passion for wine and food, a economy considered to be
one of the most open in the world, which managed to steadily reduce poverty since the
1980s and now has a free trade agreement with Australia that brought the import duties
down to zero for over 90% of the harmonized code.
This country exists and it is known as ‘Chile’. Come to hear John Michell answer the two
questions above, ‘what is it?’ and ’what are the benefits to my business?’, as well as your
own!
This will be a great opportunity to hear someone who operates ‘near the engine’ of the
exporting activity answer questions and learn more about this emerging market.
