S$4.5 billion Wine Business Sector in the Asia Pacific

The Asia Pacific Wine Hub offers a new dimension to the beverage world with

well-integrated services all under a single roof, providing solutions to beverage

storage, logistics, marketing and education needs.

The Asia Pacific Wine Hub's unique proposition lies in the way it narrows the

gap between producers and buyers by connecting them through a marketing

platform and thereby increasing the opportunity of business growth.

This marketing platform is supported by world-class wine storage facilities,

logistics and other ancillary services to help producers reach the S$4.5-billion

wine business sector in Asia Pacific1 more quickly.

The Asia Pacific Wine Hub's marketing platform, THE EXCHANGE, exists to

connect producers to potential buyers in this region. THE EXCHANGE, where

more than 10'000 stock-keeping units (S.K.U.s) can be displayed, will be

equipped with radio frequency identity (RFID) tags to identify individual

S.K.U.s. Regional buyers can thus browse and obtain information on products

by just scanning the RFID tag attached to the S.K.U.

The intrinsic benefits are producers can now reach their customers without

having to appoint a sales person in Asia-Pacific countries. Buyers no longer

need to fly to the source countries just to source products to meet the everchanging

demands of their markets.
