Description

Bearing in mind the continuously growing and unique industry capabilities of South Australian companies operating within the Water and Cleantech sectors, combined with the high demand for renewable and sustainable solutions in Brazil and Latin America, the Exporters' Club and the Australia Brazil Chamber of Commerce (ABCC) are joining forces again and bringing to you a business luncheon entitled "WATER & CLEANTECH - Export opportunities in Brazil and Latin America".

The event is supported by Austrade and the Water Industry Alliance and features the following presenters:

  • Tim Harcourt - Chief Economist Austrade, Sydney

Tim Harcourt (aka "The Airport Economist"), is responsible for the analysis of global economies and helps Austrade devise international business strategies. Tim is an enthusiast of the Brazilian economy and is currently writing a book about the export possibilities this marketplace offers to Australian companies.

  • Greg Wallis - Senior Trade Commissioner & Consul General, Sao Paulo, Brazil

Originally from South Australia, Greg Wallis has been in Brazil for the last three years. Given his knowledge and experience within Brazil and Latin America, Greg's presentation will focus on South Australian Water industry expertise and how companies within this industry should approach, explore and win business.

  • Peter Buss - Manager, Co-founder of Sentek Technologies

Sentek Technologies is a 100% South Australian company that has revolutionised the market of soil moisture sensors, salinity sensors in agriculture, mining, water and environmental management. Sentek exports its products to 70 countries and is willing to share with you some of the lessons they have learnt in Brazil and Latin America.

This business luncheon is an absolute must for all companies within the Water and Cleantech segments and to organisations interested in doing business with Brazil and Latin America.
